I received a complimentary Rimmel VoxBox from Influenster which contained a number of lovely beauty products. I've tested them out quite a bit before composing my thoughts into a review. For this review I'd like to focus on the Rimmel Wonderfully Real Mascara that I received.
The mascara I received was non-waterproof and in the colour 'Extreme Black' which was great because I tend to only use black mascaras as my natural eyelash colour is quite light so it's nice to get some definition. I found the packaging to be slick and overall very attractive and has a great curve shape on the lid which is useful when you're applying the mascara. The wand is a normal size and is great for getting those individual lashes, and not clumping too much.
During the day time I tend to only apply mascara once, as I save the double (maybe triple) application to create bolder looks when I'm going out. That way I think you can notice a bigger difference from day to night. I only applied this mascara once in the photo shown above and as you can see it certainly brightens up my eyes and gives them some definition. I really like the look it gives me as it's not too over the top for everyday wear. It lasts all day, even when I'm rubbing my eyes - I do that a lot. It comes off easily of an evening too which I am glad as I like to take all traces of make up off before I go to bed.
I would certainly purchase this mascara once I've run out and I would recommend giving it a try.
